Jitta Consulting is a 100% Indigenous female owned purpose driven consultancy business. The Director, Rekeesha Fry, established Jitta Consulting with more than six years of experience working in a number of global consulting firms in Australia, as well as over a decade working in Federal and State Governments.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to enable meaningful economic change in Indigenous communities and businesses through self-determination, co-design, truth, respect and incorporating Indigenous knowledge. We strongly believe that Indigenous people have the right to determine their own sustainable future and prosperity. We challenge clients to think and do things differently to deliver better outcomes for Indigenous people, businesses and communities.

Rekeesha Fry

Founder and Director

Rekeesha Fry is the founder and director of Jitta Consulting, a small Indigenous consulting company based in the Northern Territory (NT) that is focused on supporting the growth of the Indigenous business sector. Rekeesha is a proud Dagoman/Wardaman, Wadjanbarra, Gooreng Gooreng and Kuku Thaypan woman who was born and raised on Larrakia country in Darwin.

Rekeesha has a wide range of skills in consulting and proven experience in policy and project development, having worked over six years in a number of professional global consulting firms in Australia. For the last three years, Rekeesha has had a keen interest and focus on working with the natural resources, mining and energy sector here in Australia and internationally, and has been a trusted advisor for companies to strategically plan and engage better with Traditional Owners, Indigenous businesses and communities to improve outcomes.

She is passionate about supporting economic development in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities that leads to self-determination and economic independence for her people.

Kerilee Fry

Consultant

Kerilee Fry is a senior project officer with Jitta Consulting who is passionate about supporting Indigenous economic development in the Territory. Kerilee is also a proud Dagoman/Wardaman, Wadjanbarra, Gooreng Gooreng and Kuku Thaypan woman who was born and raised on Larrakia country in Darwin.

Committed to empowering Aboriginal businesses, Kerilee specialises in navigating government procurement settings. With a decade of public service experience and seven years dedicated to government procurement, Kerilee is uniquely positioned to support Aboriginal businesses in accessing and thriving from government procurement opportunities. Kerilee’s passion for social procurement and driving social impact underscores her approach. Leveraging this combined tenure of experience, Kerilee ensures alignment with procurement policies and regulations while fostering collaborative relationships to facilitate successful engagements.
